A combination of good news and bad news. The good news first. We are launching the profile builder live on the Camgirl Toolkit website on September 19, 2015. The bad news, we are closing the beta platform as of September 19, 2015.
What does this mean?
What this means is the beta platform, and all the information stored on it will be purged and the services provided by it will cease. This includes the profile code you’re currently using and any images you’re hosting on the beta platform. Please take whatever steps are required to prepare for this event.
Will I be able to use the profile builder?
Absolutely! But, not for free anymore. All you need to do is signup for your account on the Camgirl Toolkit website on or after the launch on September 19, 2015 and purchase access to the profile builder. We are launching it at the price of $20 for 30 days of access.
The Profile Builder located on this beta platform and the one that will be installed on the Camgirl Toolkit Website are separate systems. If you plan to purchase it, you will need to take steps to make sure we transfer your profile information and images. Please contact us ASAP for detailed instruction on what you need to do to avoid loss of data. You must contact us before the beta shutdown or your data is definitely going to be lost.
Please note: There will be things you will need to fix manually once the transfer is complete, this information will be given in the instruction we’ll send you.
Why are you closing the beta platform?
The idea behind the beta platform was that a small handful of people would have free access to the system during development in exchange for frequent feedback which was crucial to finishing the system. The beta program did not work very well as the latest feedback was on the 21st of August and before that July 17th. While our beta system failed, we continued to work on the software. The profile builder is now complete and ready to market, so we are closing the beta program and moving forward.
Thank you for taking this journey with us and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Hello all Beta Testers,
I have noticed a marked decrease in activity on the forum. The beta platform is providing a service for a service. We are providing use of the beta profile builder at a cost of your feedback.
This policy, effective immediately, will require you to provide meaningful feedback at least once per week. Testers who are unable to provide meaningful feedback within the allotted time will have their access to the profile builder revoked. Special dispensation can be requested in times of extraordinary circumstances.
Even if you’re not actively making updates to your live profile, please take the time to go in and test the new features, etc. We haven’t heard any feedback from some of you on the latest update, the new layout, how easy or difficult it is to use and find things, etc. Your feedback is crucial to the success of this project.
Thank you for your attention,
I have some bad news. It turns out the data conversion system I wrote to convert the old data to the new format didn’t work. This said, I’m going ahead and wiping profile data.
I have exported all of the data from the database and am preparing an email for each of you with all of the text to make it easier for you to copy/paste everything back in.
I realize this is a huge pain in the ass, but it can’t be avoided. I apologise
This update is essentially a new release. I’ll revise this post in the future to make it more comprehensive.
- Added Section system.
- Added Asynchronous setting changes.
- Added fonts.
There have been so many changes to the system that I will have to make a short tutorial video just so you all know what’s going on with it.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Just a little news about the data conversion. For some reason it’s having trouble converting the data for the “About Me”, “Events” and “Room Rules” options, but the rest appears to convert perfectly.
So, that said, you’ll need to backup the text for those sections and add them back into the new system. The silver lining is you won’t have to redo all of your faq, tip menu and videos.
If you have any questions, let me know
First, I want to thank all of you for all of your help and to apologize for the flip/flop nature of the upcoming update. I didn’t realize there’d be so much profile data in the system for testing purposes. Because of this I’ve decided to make the updated editor convert the old data style to the new one. This way you should lose nothing.
It’s still a good idea to backup your information, just in case something goes nuts.
As always, if you have any questions, let me know.
I just wanted to come in and tell you that it’s about time for the big update I talked about. June 28, 2015 at the midnight I will upload the new update and purge the system of all profile data.
The new system is entirely incompatible with the old, so there is not getting around the purge of data. The silver lining is that you won’t have to reupload your images, they will survive the data purge. However all other profile data will be lost. If you want to back up your text/faq/tip menus and videos.. now’s the time to do it.
There have been A LOT of changes to the profile builder as you will see when the update occurs. I think you’re going to like our new approach. I can’t wait to show it to all of you.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask
While I was working on the next update it became clear to me that the methods I was using to handle the information for the profile was fundamentally flawed and was preventing me from making easy customizations to add new features.
That said, I am working on a complete revamp of the profile builder, it will take on a whole new look and feel as well as a new method for storing it’s information.
The Bottom Line
When I make the next update, all current profile information will be erased. The only things that will remain are the images you’ve uploaded. All the rest will be gone. Now I know some of you have spent a great deal of time putting information into the system, testing it, and even using it for your live profiles. I will make an announcement a few days before I plan to make the update/purge. It would probably be a good idea for you to copy your information into a text file to make it easier to work with the new system.
I am very sorry for this, but it was a good thing that we learned about the system’s flaws now before we launched.
Thank you ALL for your support!
